LES BATELIERS DES GORGES DU TARN

Before the creation of the road in 1905, this means of transport formerly served as well for the men as the animals and the goods. Today, it allows visitors to discover the most beautiful part of Les Gorges du Tarn. Departing from La Malène, the boatmen take you on a journey of 8 km of profiled turquoise water in the heart of the steepest part of this famous canyon. Duration of the descent: approximately 1 hour guided by a professional boatman. A boat can hold up to 6 people.

Descent of approximately 8 kilometers (La Malène – Cirque des Baumes).
Duration approximately 1 hour.
A professional boatman will guide you throughout your descent.
A boat can hold up to 6 people.
At the end of the descent, a shuttle will take you back to La Malène (included in the price).
No age limit on the boat, the activity is open to toddlers.

Prices:
The price is 25€ per person (children and groups, contact us). The boats leave when there are at least 4 paid places. In case you are less than 4 people, we will complete the boat with other customers.
