Extra information

Descent about 8 kilometers (La Malène – Cirque des Baumes).
Duration of about 1 hour.
A professional workshop will guide you throughout your descent.
A boat can hold up to 6 people.
At the end of the descent, a shuttle will take you back to the Malena (included in the fare).
No age limit on the boat, activity is open to toddlers.

Rates:
The price is 27€ per person (children and groups consult us). The boats leave when there are at least 4 paid places. In case you are less than 4 people, we will complete the boat with other customers.

Before the road was created in 1905, this means of transportation was useful for humans just as well as for animals and merchandise. Today, it allows visitors to discover the most beautiful part of Gorges du Tarn. Starting in La Malène, the ‘batelier’ (boat skipper) leads you through 8 kilometres of turquoise waters, in the most narrow part of this famous canyon.
Duration of the activity: one hour, with a professional ‘batelier’ that guides the tour. One boat can contain up to six people.
